Monoprints

A dialogue with color.

My objective was to work with color and abstract shapes 
striving to initiate with them an emotional quality
that the viewer could respond to in his own way.I chose the printmaking process
because I love the wonderful quality of surprise
that is so unique to this medium.The ability to layer color and images time and again 
allows me to achieve a mystical quality in the work
that I cannot duplicate with any other medium.
Changes are many as I rely on intuition and experimentation
to bring the piece to completion
assuring that no two are ever alike.
